Hanseatic Group is divided into smaller business units in which our team is in close and direct contact with the customer. Decision making process is therefore much faster than with huge multinational corporations where local branches have little competencies and important business decisions are dealt with at the higher levels of organisation or in headquarters. The process of passing documents and information is therefore much more difficult and time consuming.
Every employee at Hanseatic Slovakia is responsible for a particular customer and is always ready to solve any problem or consult this problem immediately with the management team of Hanseatic. Orders, notifications, parcel tracking and other business matters are dealt with immediately without delay. Our employees are available on their mobile phones even apart from their working hours.
The parcel is being looked after by a professional team of employees for the entire time of transport. Hanseatic Group has a wide network of branches in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Thanks to our membership in the international forwarding association, Hanseatic has exclusive agents all over the world and in all major ports.
The offer is complex and involves all types of transport and relating services. Our advantage lies in the fact that Hanseatic has the option of wide selection of transporters, ship-owners and forwarding partners all over the world. The co-operation with just one sole service supplier can, in some instances, create operational problems (i.e. not enough containers in depot, lack of space for cargo, inconvenient schedule, temporary road closer etc.)
Each customer is deal with individual care both in the daily working process and when preparing a new contract. Hanseatic is negotiating bulk discounts, optimising and finding new ways of transport, accompanying critical parcels and daily monitoring every movement of your cargo.
We take full responsibility for the parcel according to the general terms and conditions of the Forwarding and Logistics Association throughout the whole delivery process and take any risks of the transporter (the transporter is responsible only in terms of CMR, CIM or Haagsk – Visbysk rules in sea transport which is significantly limited). Hanseaticissues forwarding transport documents - FIATA in its own name which enablesthe customer to claim the fulfilment of letter of credit opened for this particular business transaction.
Hanseatic provides free consultancy services relating the transport itself, the purchase agreement between the two contracting parties, payment tools and all necessary documents. As a member of the International Chamber of Commerce ICC in Paris, we are also participating in the creation of tools which are important for example for the documentary payments or for the international rules INCOTERMS.
